Advanced Open Water Diver Course: Scuba 102



Where Your Diving Adventure CONTINUES!


Course Requirements:
-Must be at least 12 years old. (10 and 11 year-olds can earn their PADI Jr. Adventure Diver certification.)
-Must be in good health and comfortable in the water
-Must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or Jr. Open Water Diver
-Have an enthusiastic attitude and want to have FUN!

Materials Needed:
-Option 1 includes the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual with Data Carrier, logbook, RDP (table or eRDP)
-Option 2 includes the PADI E-learning, logbook, RDP (table or eRDP)
-Option 3 includes the PADI iTouch, logbook, RDP (table or eRDP)

Equipment Needed:
-Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves
-Surface marker buoy with reel
-Audio signaling device (whistle)
-Cutting device (shears or knife)

Course Scheduling:
-Orientation: two hour session where we cover course logistics, paperwork and equipment fitting
-Classroom: one three hour classroom session
-Pool: one pool sessions of four hours
-Open Water Dives – Two days in an open water environment (ocean or lake)

Course Types:
-Adventure Diver (10 & 11 year-olds) requires 3 dives in one day
-Advanced Diver requires 5 dives over 2 days – including Underwater Navigation and Deep Diver
Each Adventure Dive can be credited toward a PADI Specialty. Your Instructor may adjust the schedule according to class needs.
